Maintenance Mechanic Job Description:

A local Industrial Company in York, PA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic/Technician.

Job Summary: Position is responsible for maintaining and repairing of facilities and equipment within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent or higher required.
- Knowledge of web handling processes desired.
- Knowledge of flexographic printing and lamination a plus.
- MUST have working knowledge of electrical 3-Phase wiring and electronic repair
- MUST have a strong background in electrical maintenance in an industrial setting.
- MUST have experience with maintenance on mechanical equipment in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
- PLC and drive knowledge desired
- Excellent oral and computer communication skills
- Ability to define and solve problems without assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Machine repair and preventative maintenance; must be able to perform this independently
- Emergency repairs, must be able to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment problems
- Installation assistance on capital projects.
- Coordinate the design, modification, installation of equipment or process improvements
- Project management, including selection, installation and startup of minor equipment purchases
- Facilities maintenance: painting, building modifications, grounds maintenance.
