Level III NDT MPI/FPI Test Technician
Reputable Aerospace manufacturing company is in need of a Level III NDT MPI/FPI Test Technician. This person will be responsible for supervising and training all levels I and II NDT personnel as well as up-dating documentation for production and maintenance of all NDT, Nital and Stress Relive Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform all NDT MPI FPI AND Nital Etch processes to the appropriate Work Instruction.
2. Prepare solution analysis test samples and evaluations for MPI/FPI and Nital Etch.
3. Perform Solutions Nitration's for Nital Etch.
4. Perform audits, NDT Personnel reviews and maintain departmental logs.
5. Perform all in process and final inspections required in the NDT department.
6. Perform Maintenance based NDT on MPI/FPI and Nital Etch systems guidelines.
7. Responsible for brining any non-conformities to the attention of the Chief Inspector.
8. Responsible for the proper handling and storage of all materials associated with NDT.
9. Create and Submit NDT MPI/FPI and Nital Etch techniques as required by customers.
Education:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum of five years experience in NDT (MPI/FPI) Manufacturing Operations in addition must have a current ASNT Level III MPI/FPI NDT Certification and two years supervisory experience.
